What will be initial amount that we have to pay to confirm our seat??? and do wait listed students also have to pay some amount for counting them in waitlist movement????

For the General category, getting a seat in BIM seems to be a lottery - too few seats to say whether one will definitely get selected

Ya thats correct.. Waitlists are given quota based. BC movement was around 45 as his brother converted at 43 and for general he said it was arnd 40. This year the WL movement might be more cos of new IIMs and IITs. That was the reason why the lowered the cutoffs and also for the sake of diversity. Last year they had calld around 1200 but this year 1497

One thing i know for sure is that for OC the WL moved till 25 at least, because my WL number was 25 and i converted, although i didnt join

A friend of mine is in the 1st year. He said it wil come before 15th for sure. That is what he was told there!!

Results will be available aftr 12th Apr.U can check on website on12th..."........I got this reply...
I asked again and told him that some ppl are saying it wuld be out after long weekend.he told me It will be out on 12th apr only

Friends just now i called the office...they are saying the results would be avialable only on april 12th afternoon...actually april 13th-16th is a long weekend...they are giving different answers to diff ppl...i think this is jus to drag time to next time...Also today morn i spoke with a senior in BIM...he said most probably we would get it by april 20 th,,,,don know y they are not giving correct date

Seniors too said on tenth. During gdpi, at many venues it was reported to be tenth april. Lets hope results be out today.

Well its true that most of the colleges in the north dont have quotas. Not sure why most of the south Indian colleges have their own state quotas? Imagine FMS in delhi having Delhi quota

Seniors, one out of place query regarding recreational options in BIM. Does BIM have music room, badminton courts, basketball courts et al?

1.. location..
2.. finance is my weapon nd LBSIM gives me the edge here...
3.. trichy is nit an industrial area.. if i want to attend or apply individual placement outside my college campus.. i ll have to move to a different city altogether..
4.. i am from north india so it ll be a better option for me to stay here..

PS: this is what i feel.. BIM is an excellent brand to be with, u can think for that as well..

My guess regarding results is, it should come either on or before 12th April or else only after 16th April. Tamil Nadu celebrates Tamil New Year's day this friday and it is kinda long weekend for all. Everyone would be travelling or so.. So i don't think results would be out on 13,14 or 15. Anyway's it is anyone's call now, considering that almost 10 days are over since the last date of GD/PI.

Final stage of sorting out selected people applications is currently underway.We are working hard to release the list on or before 12th April guys. Till then pl hold on

The guy who verified the certificate at the Chennai centre told that the result will be tentatively out by April 11th...

The seniors have mentioned it as 10-12 so for sure it can't go more than that..usually they only mention the maximum time it can take for the results to be published..so i only expect it sooner.

P.S very eager about the results too.

Hey Pavan, consider the trend as an A.P.
As in 2010-results after 4 days of last gdpi date
2011-results after 7 days of last gdpi date
2012-results after 10 days of last gdpi date(i.e. 1st April.... That means its gonna be 11th April......wat say.?

P.S.- I missed my tapmi and kj gdpi because of my final year project review....so BIM is my only hope....
