Seniors need some help here... i have my GD/PI for IIT kanpur on 30th march... i've given my interview centre for BIM as chennai... is it possible if my GD/PI session for BIM be scheduled on APRIL 1st??? As per the previous replies to this post i understand that April 1 is within the window for chennai.... Kindly consider my situation.... pls reply...

Companies have signed an agreement with the college to not to disclose any information regarding the placements..
unofficially..its over..all the students from the senior batch have got placed..with good packages..in some very reputed companies.

Yes u have a decent chance..weight-age for CAT score will be some where in bw 35% to 45%..

Dear aspirants,

U will get a form along with the call letter..fill that form and bring it along with u at the day of ur interview.

yes u can change the dates by making a phone call to the admission office.

Boss i have a big problem,Actually in my grads marksheets(all upto 6thsem) there is a spelling mistake in my name and my father's name.But itz correct in the university enrollment card.Do i have to bring any affidavit or any document for certifying that the marksheets are true.The thing is that my university is very poor in correction works so i haven't got the marksheets corrected yet,i will get it done at last only when i will get the final degree.

just an honest opinion...when almost everybody is having trouble with their GD/PI dates,shouldnt the dates be reconsidered? and given that the other institutes had declared their centers and dates a long time back, we cannot change their dates and are stuck in an absolute mess!

1. GD-PI dates for various cities

2. The components of the selection process

3. Weightage for each component

Meanwhile you could prepare yourself for filling up the interview form which would reach you by post. The form will contain fields such as 'Why MBA', 'Career goals', 'Hobbies', 'Extra curricular activities' etc.

Ur address in the online application form..i.e. the communication address.
If u want to change the City : make a phone call to the admission office.
But 1st wait for the call letter..which u will be getting around 2nd March..then only take any further actions.

Your present address will be taken as the basis. However if you want a change you can inform the admissions team beforehand. As Aditya mentioned in the previous page, you can change your venue even after you get the call letter; just a prior notification of the admissions team is sufficient.

Whether is there any limitation in the no of people allowed to change the venue?

By March 2nd, you should receive the interview form and call letter containing the exact details. If you don't get it by then, contact the admissions office.

U will get a call letter prior to the commencements of the GD/PI process in which ur date,city and venue will be mentioned.If u want to make some alteration according to the schedule which I just mentioned u need to make a call to the admission office to inform them about the same along with ur reasons.
But before that wait for ur call letter.

Don't get tensed..u have a lot of time..just go through ur UG concepts,if u have a work ex then ur role and work u did plus ur UG.. and current affairs.
