(71.03 percentile in QA,DI & 83.29 percentile in VA,LR)

Yes it does, to help you go from hostel to classroom and back. If you want you can use it to go to BHEL Township that is 5 kms away to do shopping, temple visit etc.

Hostels are 2BHK houses which will house 4 people. The four of you will have to adjust among yourself within a house. You can bring your two-wheeler or car if you want else you can always make use of your friends'. Two houses in ground floor and two in first floor per block.

There is no dress code. You are free to wear what you want in the hostels.

I am in the waiting list of BIM in MBC 16 ,when i called to the office they said till waiting 8 they have called .Now you are in the 8th position if atall any previously selected members rejected (alteast you will be called.
I want to know where there is any chance of getting in .So MBC guys please update and inform me.

Not needed. Even my TC had my 'conduct' included in it and the title of the certificate was 'Transfer & Conduct Certificate'

Admissions office will give you the true picture. Not many people are posting their WL status here so hard to find out.

There were 7 consulting firms which came for placements and made 9 offers. There are around 20-30 people in the batch who moved away from IT sector into Marketing, Finance and HR. Around the same number of juniors with 30+ months IT work-ex aspired for marketing and have got summer internships in FMCGs and Manufacturing companies.

The waiting list movement happened yesterday. Call up 0431-2583509 to know your status.

Even my 12th is in 70s
but chill dude..it doesnot matter once u r in B schools. All boils down to your stint of 2yrs at MBA. If you peform well in these 2yrs, u will be placed for sure.

I mean during selection they only look for graduation marks more than 80%(If u r Gen category) which very stupid criteria...so I concluded that for two yrs they can make u academically strong but wat bout practical exposure..

BIM does give practical exposure in the form of the tie-up with BHEL,Trichy and through the consulting group which exposes candidates to SMEs which have tied up with BIM for real-time consultancy projects. As much as practical exposure is important (and is available), ability to take initiatives (without the professor telling you what to do) is also important. Those who have utilized the opportunity (myself included) have benefited from it. If you expect the institute to spoon-feed you with practical exposure, you are in for a big disappointment.
