Friends this is going to be the admission scam of the year it seems Approx 1750 calls are given for the 600 seats in IMT Ghaziabad. Me and my friends perconally checked each and every application number upto 5000 applications and recorded the outcomes. Here are our findings which you can check and verify from the IMT website imt.edu on result link.
Total number of application slot= 28000 ( from application number 50006 to 78804)
Number of application number we checked= 5000 (from 50006 to 55000 )
So multiplication factor for final outcome = 28000\5000 = 5.76

Number of calls of PGDB(F\T) calls in initial 5000 application =118 . So Out of 28000 applications No. of calls will be 118* 5.76= 680 calls approx.

Number of calls of PGDB(Finance) calls in initial 5000 application =89 . so Out of 28000 Applications No. of calls will be 89* 5.76= 512 calls approx.

Number of calls of PGDB(IB) calls in initial 5000 application =44 . so Out of 28000 applications No. of calls will be 44* 5.76= 253 calls approx.

Number. of calls of PGDB(HR) calls in initial 5000 application =29 . so Out of 28000 applications No. of calls will be 29* 5.76= 150 calls approx

Number. of calls of PGDB(IT) calls in initial 5000 application =17 so Out of 28000 applications No. of calls will be 17* 5.76= 98 calls approx

Number. of calls of PGDB(DCP) calls in initial 5000 application =151 so Out of 28000 applications No. of calls will be 151* 5.76= 870 calls approx

So total calls given for 600 seats = (118 + 89 +44 +29 +17 +151) * 5.76 = 1763 approx with +\- 2% considerable Normal distribution variance error as 28000 application results is projected on the basis of all initial 5000 application number checks.

Here is the application number wise details of calls from application number 50006 to 55000( 5000 NUMBERS) while actual number is 28800 lies from application number (50006 to 78804) below list can be easily verified by IMT website result status link

You can imagine How much money they are going to make just by 50,000 deposit 1750 * 50000 = it 87500000 i.e. 8 crores 75 lacs it is the total compensation of last year 100 vacant seats with the hard earned money of applicants parents Is AICTE is sleeping in checking the admission process of different money making MBA colleges including IMT

Applicants who hesitantly gave 50000 demand draft even after getting mediocre and costly PGDB( DCP) program seats in a hope it will be upgrade on approximately 150-200 seats movement now looks have absolutely no chance for up-gradation because for 120 seats approximately 870 calls are given. Even you can check from the above list just from 5000 initial application number checks it reach upto 151 call( much more than actual 120 seats) so any body can imagine for entire 28800 application numbers these DCP calls will reach upto 870 calls.

Readers please verify these application numbers from the IMT website and rest do some basic mathematics.

I couriered the PDF form along with docs last saturday. but still not recd any confirmation. even wen i log in to the welingkar site it shows "App form not recd". How long does it take them to update the status?
Also wenever i try to call them to ask about the same nobody answers their phone.

So many from TCS trying for MBA .... Your profile is very good....but cutoff I'm nt sure ...somewhr i read as a post from seniors that they dnt entertain ppl below 80% for PGDM......but do apply coz with 27 months wrkex u shld b able to fetch a call.......

Your profile looks good but your XAT score is on a lower side.I would suggest apply with your CAT OR CMAT score or if you have given MHCET you can apply through that as well as the result of MHCET will be declared on 16/4 and you have the time till 25/4 .So think about it................

im not too sure .im getting 91 percentile in cmat taking 70,0000 applicants under consideration..but if i consider 40,000 odd its only 87.i have 3-4 months work ex in gfk marketing research ..agency..and above 8o percent in school exams and ug -75 % engg.hve already applied but i doubt whether il get a call
