today i checked nitie site and Still the status of application on site is "Your Application and other documents are awaited."

I checked the website it shows 21st Dec.
But somewhere on this thread i saw it as 31st Dec.

I had posted my application through speed post and it showed the status as ' delivered' on 8th December 2010.But the status in the NITIE website is yet to be updated.

I am in ISEM-10...
As ISEM is a niche course.. your interest in the environment sector and relative experience would give you an advantage. And please do not think of percentile right now. Wait till 12th Jan :)

By tuesday of next week, you can expect it to get updated.. though there is no need to worry if your speed post status says that it has been delivered.

Adding to the same query, I have sent the form with all required docs some 15 days back but just now recalled that i didn't send the self addressed slips.
Is it mandatory to send them? I mean I won't mind not getting the prospectus by mail. Thanks!!

1. it is 'self addressed' not 'self attested' ... it means that you will write your postal address on the stickers and then send it along with the form :)

2. yes, it can be corrected let me know if you have confirmed and submitted the online form or final submission of form is yet to be done.

But i fear, applying twice might lead to rejection of both applications.

Yes, it will hamper your chances for getting call for PGDISEM because calls are generally given on the basis of first preference only ... if you really want to pursue career in PGDISEM, i will suggest to apply through another form.

actually i am interested in PGDISEM only as i have work in manufacturing field only, but while giving preferences i put PGDIM first(as it is main course there) and PGDISEM second, will this affect my chances as i just read 1st option will be given preference??? if yes, then i will apply for another form.

Oh, i am late nw as last date was 30 november only. i think i did big mistake. I wanted to be in either PGDIM or PGDISEM, but as my chances were good at PGDISEM, i should have given it 1st preference.

The final results should indicate First Division (5% concession in case of SC/ST/PD candidates), else the admission to the program stands withdrawn.
What is first division? Is it 70%? Is there any differentiation for institutes following CGPA system.

I will take up the query though i am not from PGDISEM

If you score around 85%yl and you are from obc non-creamy layer as well... then i dont think that your score will be very low for getting a call for PGDISEM course ... also since you have good work experience , i think you have good chances :)

After the calls are out, all those getting calls are on same level... there have been people with cat score near the cutoff converting calls and people with very high scores not able to convert. In short, all depends on how you perform in GDPI once you get the call.

My question is to PGDISEM seniors,
i am expecting 85%le in cat, i am a chemical engg. working in manufacturing company as a project deputy manager. work ex 3.5 yrs.
i read cut off are low as 78%le!!!! i am obc non-creamy also.
any chance as my cat percentile are very very low for such institute?
