hi one of my back papers result not declared yet and not any date confirmed so in the unfortunate case its not till last of july then whats the last date to withdraw the admission........seniors please help........

The following Documents are required to fill the hostel form.

1. Residence proof

2. Copy of Admission Receipt

3. Anti-Ragging Affidavit 22204 on a Rs 10 stamp paper

4. Medical Certificate 22205

5. Library membership form 22206

i wil probably b cumin to the clg on 30-31...i wil b visiting the clg in a day or two to fil the form for hostel....

For your information, some students of 2009-11 are still not placed and also there were a couple of opt outs from the campus placements. The above statistics do not include companies whose results are still awaited.

hello everyone...specially to the new batch...
we are planning an informal meeting on saturday i.e ...it will be a session in which we seniors will tell the juniors about the responsibilities that they have to take when they come to college..for example..about the t&p; committe..annual college fest..sports events...guest lectures..and various activities that we have planned...so i request all the ne comers to actively take part in this discussion and regarding the place i will inform u all by friday :-P:-P

The question whether DCE on becoming DTU has improved or deteriorated is a question that led to lot of fuss and eventually protest was launched by the college students against the proposed bill. Now that some time has passed we can now evaluate whether the act has proved to be useful or not. To remind you all, Delhi College of Engineering ( DCE ) was upgraded to Delhi Technological University ( DTU ) according to a bill passed by Delhi Legislative Assembly. This was done in order to improve the quality of teaching and also to remain independent for decisions such as upgrading the syllabus and recruiting the faculty. It also meant that DCE no longer was under the reign of Delhi University. Neither it was an affiliating University but instead a deemed university. Now the concern for the students was that the institution now being a state university instead of central university might lose its reputation. Two years after the event, if we now see the institution we can certainly say that the act to upgrade DCE to DTU was a novel act. New courses has been introduced. Number of seats has increased and infrastructure has also improved a lot after the upgradation. The upgradation of DCE into a technical university has provided the necessary academic and administration autonomy to empower DCE to march on the path of academic and research excellence, and also to accelerate the pace of innovations by the students. This year the Delhi Technological University has done a wonderful growth in the field of Science and Technology.The conferment of the status of a technological University upon DCE is a major opportunity for meeting the requirement of skilled brainpower in the New Knowledge Era. Delhi Technological University crossed all the prior milestones and achieved a landmark of approx. 1000 placements. This depicts high faith in the institution by the reputed companies and also major initiatives such as curriculum innovation and various tie-ups with reputed Universities abroad. Many national and multinational organisations like IBM and Samsung are trying to have collaboration with Delhi Technological University for research and development. DTU, with the brand image of DCE and its glorious past, thus is poised to create new pathways of engineering education and research excellence as also to cause innovations infinite on the strength of its highly talented student community and qualified faculty.

You will get the ppt's in the class itself.By the faculty.and you can get books from the library after you get a library card issued on your name..and that can only happen when the session begins...so relax till then

i hope there are no more querries now
and everyone is busy in their internships so its difficult for us to contact the college admin on regular basis ..we also gonna follow the same procedure as what we ask you o do so..so the best way out is to contact the college admin directly.They can give u a better solution..still we are trying our best to solve ur problems...

2 or 3 people share the room during the first year, but after the first year you may get a single room.





He just meant that before asking your queries please refer to the previous pages as a lot of them have already been answered.

i have been following this forum since the beginning and hence know that.. i asked about hostel facilities abs sharing as i could not find anyone answering..
