Have already joined IIFT-K. And with such a little time given to confirm the seat, it would be a real challenge .

Yes they told they will put it up on website..No info about the number of vacant seats but dude you need only 1 vacant seat and I am sure there is atleast 1 in OBC..so dont worry..juz pray for the list to be put up.

Hi puys, just visited d campus...they are telling 'mostly' waitlist will be out...but when i asked them say for sure they not ready to commit which is understandable...she told to wait for the day..

she also said as of now they will release the list unless some last moment changes in decision.

so guys keep ur hope lamp burning.

If thr r ny guys frm mumbai waiting for next waitlist pls go down 2 adcom in nitie and expres dem our wish 2 take up the vacant seats. .it wud give a positive edge. .

I dont think they will be releasing any further list. As far as i have heard. And in deed there are few vacant seats for sure. some 3 r 4 sc guys have gone for IIM I and L. and in other category there will be max of 2 vacant seats. All categories put together there will be a max of 8 - 10 seats vacant. It would be better if one of you could come down and express the wish of you and others in the waitlist who wish to join. I hope you guys act fast.

I went to NITIE's office yesterday & one person from admissions dept told me that they don't check mails anymore & told me to FAX instead, I guess we should do the same.

Pls pm the actual mail u posted and the adcom email id..so tht i can do the same..but hope it gives some positive impact..

Did they say they will put up a waitlist for sure or not decided? because when I cald up at about 2pm they were not sure.

Hope you are right..and afaik atleast 2 Gen candidates are not taking from the last list. I have confirmed with them. So you need 2 more withdrawals/nonacceptance of offers.
