i have cancelled my admission @ IMT after having spent 1 week there....got thru in MDI in thursday's counselling round
submitted a letter for cancelling my admission on 25th...don't know how much money i will get back...best of luck to every1@ IMT....and to the guy who gets admission in my place

I dunno if you are from the first round people who cancelled their admission, because I am. The reason I am saying this is I checked with IMT and they are saying that they recently updated the signatures in their bank account and there should be no problem now.

Previously the signatures in the bank account were of Dr. Anwar Ali and P. Dayal, but now they have updated it to have Sherry sir's signature.
I have deposited the cheque again... let's see...

Even I am from the first round selection, then cancellation bandwagon.
I received the cheque on 12th June, and deposited it with SBI near my place, and it got cleared smoothly.

Hello everyone,

I am the parent of one of the IMTian 2010 who accompanied the candidate on the registration day. I would like to share some of my views about the Campus and the registration process.

- The campus looked awesome and the facilities especially for sports activities are extra ordinary.
- The campus is located at prime spot of Ghaziabad.
- The security is well mannered and adequate.
- The Hostel is spacious and maintained up to a minimum standard, could have been better.
- Mess hall is big enough and the food was very good (May be this was only for one day since parents were also invited)

- Registration process was smooth up to a certain extend, barring some confusion about the students who were initially guided to the room where parents were given information about the institute by one of the SAC member.
- Different stalls were set up for the convenience of the new IMTians to procure items for the immediate requirements such as Coolers, Mattresses, Buckets etc and also special offer stalls for mobile connections.
-Central bank of india's reps were available in large nos. to facilitate loan requirement for new students.

The only problem the students and their parents faced was the hostel room allocation procedure which should have been done in a smooth manner, the process ended only by about 1700 hrs, which ultimately caused delay in the installation of coolers and procuring other necessary items.

I also like to thank the seniors who have given information about the registration procedures and other info. about the campus.

Finally I personally wish all the new and senior IMTians a very successful and enjoyable year ahead.

I am an MBA aspirant and had received admission to IMT-G PGDM (Finance) course this year. I had paid the first installment to confirm my admission. But due to all the mismanagement going on in the college I decided to cancel my admission and accordingly sent a letter to IMT-G.

I received a letter from IMT-G Admission Office along with a cheque of amount Rs. 1.79 Lac (Rs. 1000 less as per AICTE rules). When I deposited this cheque in my account, the cheque was dishonored (cheque bounced) and the reason stated was 'Drawer's signature differ'. I have informed IMT-G's admission office, but considering the time they are taking to respond I am a little worried.

Now, I have two questions:
1. Has anybody faced the same issue (or am I the only one who is singled out )

Been a hell of ride here.................Started with great pride.....then become a bit apprehensive ......then a bit more.......but i thought this college is 30 yr old man ...and constantly been at top for many year and may be at top for many more

In section-2 the assignment says "Attempt all questions" which i believe make it for all to attempt all questions.
Also The assignment has also parts on Economics and Business plan, which being part of any one specialization make it clearer that all questions need to be attempted.

Anyone correct me if I am wrong.

Great Problem!! Now we've got Assignments!
Greatest Problem.....I still haven't received the Assignment, checking my inbox every hour or so! Checked the inbox inside out, but no signs of the it!
Called the IMT some tme back.. to check if iam in or not in the first place, though ive got the final call letter but not the assignment.... Got the response that "Aapka Mailbox kharaab hoga".. now what does that mean???? Getting loads of mails since day before yesterday... but not getting the one that matters the most!!
Again called them and said it to be mailed it to another ID of mine!!! Lets c whats in store!!!

Yes, IT lab is open 24 hrs. There are two halls-one is full of CS players in the night. You'll have to sit in the other one

Puys... Am starting tomorrow morning from bangalore... I will miss these days in bangalore and my lovely WIFE... She was so caring that I never had to be sad...
