The lateral placements at IIMI are decent- its held before the main placements. As for an average CTC, IIMI did not release it as a policy.

This seems to be more valid... the numbers indicate the total people called irrespective of teh category and the last digit of PRX says the category the person belongs to... i dont think they would call 600 people for general alone or else there is no point in keeping so many ppl in wait list... they would surely not like to give false hopes to so many wait listers like me..

It seems you are right. Someone quoted his sl no as PRO79X... so it seems unrealistic that they have called 800 odd students for OBC category.

I am a fresher.What are the documents that I have to get from college and will be needed at the time of admission.

I sent a mail to the SBI Indore Bank Manager but I didn't get any reply. My GD/PI mentor at IIM I gave me this information:

The insti wll be sending you all the requisite documents along with the bank loan offer for State Bank Indore. If you want to avail the loan facility, fill it up and bring along with you at the time of registration.
You are free to avail loan from any other bank, but you'll need to arrange for that yourself.
As far as collateral is concerned, SB Indore does not ask for any.

The Students finance secretary at IIM Indore is working on a bulk loan deal. Details will be shared in due course.

If and when the deal is done , it will surely be at an interest rate that is much more attractive. So please watch this space and do not be in a hurry.

I think this is a very logical conclusion.
Can we know what is the last PRGXXX number that has been given a final offer. That way we can find out how may calls have been made for 215 Genaral category seats.....

And somehow I feel that it is not a overall ranking..because in ranking they have given weightage to everything like CAT score,work exp,acads,PI,essay..So for a SC/ST candidate it will be really difficult to be within top 40-50 in overall ranking with low CAT socres (comapared to GEN,OBC-NC people)...But i have found people having numbers like PRC xx..It is only my opinion / guess...
So it can be a mere serial number of the selected candidates based on interview order or something else...

one more thing to add no of calls for obc was around 600 so chances of giving 776 calls can be ruled out completely

I think in this thread till now the highest PR number we came to know is PR_ 700..anyone more than that? so we can safely assume they might have called around 750 people for 450 around seats....so WL people you can now easily find out the buffer calls in ur category by ratio 750/450 = ...or if it is more than 750 then also you can find it out...

May be they ranked people ...the initial part represents the category and the latter part the rank in the merit list...

Guys, i guess above said is right. I'm an OBC candidate and my offer letter number is PRO337. I Called up admission office today morning and got it confirmed. Does any one know any info on tentative joining date?
My case is peculiar. I have already put my paper. Company relieves me only on 30th June. I'm damn sure we might be asked to report much earlier. I would like to have exact date before pressing my manager to relieve me soon :(.

Now this is very valid interpretation. So Indore had given out almost 600+(considering PRGx to PRG59X numbers posted in this thread) general calls for 210 available seats.

Very very tough chance for wait listers like me.

I am currently working and haven't put my papers yet. I have 1 month notice period in my company and need to plan my resignation accordingly...Can you throw some light on the probable date on which we should reach INDORE?

I have certain queries:
1) I have not yet received the hard copy. So, by how much time I should wait for it? I have my Offer letter no. now, so why to wait for that hard copy.
2) Btw, by how much time, we will get it? I m from UP.
3) What all would be in that hard copy - i.e. will it mention the date of joining, fee structure, fee waiver requirements etc. What all will be there? I am just waiting for the final date, so that I can fix other things, planning is being delayed because of the final date.
4) Most imp: One of my friends told me that from this year all govt. banks will ask for security/collateral, even for IIMs.
5) How to go for loan, I am still not very sure.

1) You shouldn't wait for hard copy.
2) Don't bother abt this. Anyway, u will get all these utmost by first week of June
3) Yes, u will get all these in hard copy format. For joining date, u can call PGP office.
4) I m not sure abt this right now, but last yr it wasn't the case. Even parental signature was not required.
5) We r working on this. As soon as we finalize the bulk deal, we will notify u.
