Like try4it has said, the arrogance or attitude or whatever you may want to call it shown by a few does not mean that everyone is like that. Even I thought or assumed all seniors were so (except for a few like try4it whom I already knew), immediately after batch meet. But then assumptions are not always true and I have to agree to it that the seniors are the most helpful lot. Interact with seniors and you'll get to know how friendly and helpful they are. But unless you take the initiative nothing is gonna happen.

The context in which the arrogance was put up was not the one u took into account.

But let me tell you one thing. Even u shd not generalize things because of 10 out of 240 talking arrogantly. I am from FORETech and I m sure u must have seen me on stage during batch meet. Do you think the group we represented was rude by any means.

My point is anywhere u go u ll find different types of people and how to manage that is what u ll learn here.

If u have any other concerns u r welcome to meet me in college. It would be my pleasure to solve ur queries or concerns.

In the first week itself I had noticed the quality of faculty at fore,faculty is excellent out here and if u have the capabilities u will get enough chance to excel. Currently we are going through the grueling process of selection for the various committees of the student's council.

u have missed about three weeks of class at FORE.
We are already quite deep into few subjects such as Economics(ME) and marketing(MM) and Decision making models,we got the 1st round of quiz for ME and MM tomorrow,Cant tell u anything about SRCC as I don't know much about it,but for FORE i would say that if u r able to adapt to the situation and cover the missed parts in a max of 1 week then u would not face any problems,or else u would find yourself lagging behind.The schedule here is jam packed and the teachers here are ready to take u on a ride on a F1 ferrari with no pit stops

puys i have a query i have been offered pgdm in fore. i already have srcc gbo. what do you suggest. how many classes have i missed in fore as batch is there from 21 june. i needa quick reply.

They will deduct no of months fees for which u were there.. for me they deducted two months fees(june and july).. I don't know till when one can withdraw..

First of all, Congrats and Welcome to FORE buddy.

We are wearing white shirt and dark grey trousers as of now. In the offer letter its said we have to wear it for first few days i.e. during orientation sessions. After that its gonna be casuals, Jeans and tees. But recently I heard someone mention that we have to wear the uniform till freshers day which would be on 17th July. Term 1 begins on Wednesday, so ideally we have to wear it till Tuesday. But just in case we have to wear it further, do come with one pair of the uniform. If you want you can get 1 more after coming here.

okay okay i understand you don't have to say it 3 times....but that means they are bending rules and still calling students to fill seats..then there is no point in following rules since they are not following it.........that's what i meant...but i will be following what they had said

which course bro??and then why are they pressurizing me if they are still giving admissions...i want to share a info here when i completed my registration process on 21st june well beyond 5 p.m my number was 58 for ibm course there is two seat left i believe...

actually i wanna knw shud i tell d administrator abt my backlog in grad rite nw or afterwards....will they allow me d extension if i submit a provisional certificate beforehand.....?

i hv sent d draft on 18th only but i wont be able to cum tomorrow as my leg is fractured n the plaster ll be taken off by 25th...i hv already sent a mail to the academic office bt i didnt get ny reply for that....what to do...i hv also mailed the scanned copy of my draft to the admission office....they wll nt cancel my admission

you have a big prob sonal if you are in ibm...mr batra is one tough guy...he may weigh 150 kgs and have tremendous strength but that's not what i was talking about...i was trying to get a grant of 4 days before i join...my last date of fees deposition was today...so i thought i would be given some time..last couple of days are spend arranging for money and draft...i was told batra sir would be in his office after 4 p.m today but he was not there till 5 p.m after that i went to admission department where mr chandrashekhar directed me to mr chawla's office where a find the trio(i don't know the third person) trying to open a tiffin box which ultimately mighty batra did...my prob is i had already booked my return flight for today...for last 5 yrs i was leaving in kolkata but my actual home is in a village..i will take me some time to arrange things and come...further i never know about the uniform...but he granted me only 2 day leave..i pleaded with them but they told me that i am a great manager and telling a good story to get holiday...its again becoming difficult...i don't know how student friendly fore is ..but from my experience they don't appear to be...but two bad experience is not good enough to hold a bad opinion about them...particularly because the seniors i saw are interacting really nicely with the staffs...but sonal if you are still not out of your prob and if you are in ibm then we are in a difficult situation

common please read the previous threads before posting such questions, these things have been answered a thousand times, lately refer to post 1270. stop asking for everything to be spoon feed , you have taken admission in mba now.

i think it is not self attested but rather attested by gazetted officer...i would like to suggest you to get it attested by a gazetted officer and after that if self attestation is required you can always do that...it will be more authentic and circumspect...otherwise you might have to search for a gazetted officer in an unknown place....
