Call them up to check if it has been received. That way you will know that they entered the DD details on your name.

I sent the DD + acceptance letter on 23rd(Wed) by First Flight but didn realise that we should mention the CAT TR no or email id at the back of the DD:oops:

Should that be a problem because the offer letter no. is mentioned in the acceptance letter sent along with the DD??

I will call the admissions office anyway.. so could anybody please PM me the admissions office number?

Yes Accomodation may be provided.
For that you'll have to inform the hostel authorities beforehand.
Mail the details of your stay to hostel@iimidr.ac.in

One of my parents might come along when I move to Indore and might stay on June 28

I have heard that there is accomodation available on campus.

I sent my speed post on Monday; haven't received a confirmation mail yet. I called the Admissions office today, the person who picked up the phone basically said "If we get your DD, we'll let you know".

I have made 2 DDs of 35,000 each and I even forgot to write my TR no. on the back of Demand Draft. I could not make a 70,00 draft as it involved some tax problem... So will that be a problem seniors.. and can I call the admission office tomorrow and confirm whether they have received the draft as I send it on tuesday from Delhi..

Just a suggestion...
Seniors please plan for the informal meet after the 2nd of may if possible, because heavy waitlist movement is expected in almost all the IIMs' admissions list...

The expense doc which we received thru post just have an annual expense chart. Some of the fees that are charged in the first year, may not feature in the second year. So, there wud be some diff. Please clarify.

Even if you don't have docs listed as no. 4 & 5 above, there wont be a prob but do make sure you have enough copies of all others as already mentioned by Ujjwal.

And yeah, its always good to have a couple of copies of each document attested by a gazetted officer.

Everybody..please make sure that you carry 5-6 copies of following documents:
1-Address proof
2-Photo id
3-Offer letter
4-Pan card
5-Pan card of your parent/guardian
6-photographs

You will be needing these documents for bank loan/ telephone connection etc...
