i called them up on friday ...
no mktg calls ...if i am right
the list is complete....thats what they told me
and said there was no hope of another list coming up
so no hopes

I called up SP, and got it varified... they said they have already dispatched the letter as well.
So mizzou... i suggest u too do that..

my call is for IM.

i am little baffled whether to go for SCM in NITIE OR IM in SP...

2years in patni computer systems (domain SCM) competency
and last 2 years in IBM (domain FInance)


guyzz plz advice.

IM from S.P.Jain would be better ...... considering the laterals they have for IM work e\x guys .............. thats my feeling

now i know why i missed out...probably they didnot want too many from ibm (trying to see the lighter side of it)....
but mate for scm i think nitie is better than spj not because i am waiting for a waitlist or something but because i have heard lots of people telling me abt it.

i am mohit , a computer engineer and working with a pOwer generation co. for the last 6 yr s almost. i have an interview call from spjain for this one yr course. can anyone throw more light on the expected questions during the interview?????

but i didnt get the courier letter till now
i got to pay b4 23rd
but i may take atleast 4 days from my place to reach mumbai
so can u guyz ( any one who got call from sp) tell me by which courier they mail so that i can enquire here

i have a doubt that they are giving calls according to specialisations
finance first then im and ops yest and then mktg
that the line up on the results as well
i am not too hopeful actually ......
but just wanted to be sure
and would nt even call MICA a replacement bcaus it creates a niche for me
and placements have been fantastic for the particular secialisation
so even if it is curtains down on SP i am ok with it
but i surely think 1 year course is really good for a person like u
plus cat is a pain to go through all over again ...

i have MICA and TAPMI this year and had NMIMS and FORE final calls last year
and the great thing is all four places my GD was horrible ....but PI made all the difference
i know they are not the IIMS or any top 10 college but still the interviews at SP were excellent ...both of them
oh BTW i have apllied for MKTG ...has anyone got a mktg call bcaus i have seen all but mktg calls ....i shall be joining MICA for brand management (not too diff from mktg actually)
shall call up SP today since i have to pay up at MICA before 20th
anyways lets see what happens ...

anyways i hope all will be well .....both for u as well as me
BTW me personally thinks 1 year course is really good for a supremely exerienced guy like you

There is a separate thread regarding SPJ Dubai, I think you may find a lot of info about it. To the best of my knowledge, Aarthi and many others who have got the call are going for it.

BTW mbabuster, what are you going to do?

yeah i can understand your anxiety and frustration
i myself still cant believe that i have nt made it to sp jain ...
have nt even got the rejection mail...so all the more anxious
shall call sp jain one last time tommorrow and then pay up for MICA
but its much better bcaus i got MICA ...a place where i wanted to be all this while
and would have to concentrate only on brand management
