Hey. Congratulations to all those got calls from the IIM's. Great job!! I got a low score, an OA of 82 percentile. But it's ok. I have no regrets. I did everything I could. I am from NC-OBC layer. Got quant -80.43 percentile and va-78.83 percentile and my over all percentile is 81.20 percentile , i am short listed for stage-1 in iim kozikhode. can i expect gd/pi call from them.?? which best colleges i can expect. percentage wise, your acads are superb. if that is cbse/icse i say you have a good chance.

check last year's iimk 2nd shortlist thread and see how people with your same university/board profile have fared.

IIM Calcutta does not post 2 separate lists for PGDM and PGDCM?
Last year cut-offs for both were different. PGDM (99.59) and PGDCM (99.30)...

I am doomed....dis normalisation is some serious bullshit done by cat.....i scored 95 in cat 2011. dis time it has fallen down terribly low which is simply not possible by any rational method . i seriously wish cat becomes pen and paper based again or d normalisation process is changed :banghead::shock:

I know that IIMs are out of the picture, and so is FMS, other colleges that i have applied for are IIFM, DSE-MIB, UBS-Chandigarh, FMS-BHU. Is there even the slightest chance of getting a call from any of these and if i do get a call, would i be able to convert the call if i fare well in GDPI, because thesedays, most b-schools are considering overall weighted scores taking into factor all points. Last year, got call from DSE-MIB at 44.xx%ile but owing to my poor score, even with great GDPI, I could not convert the call. So, Please help me out. I don't know what happened in the exam, but was getting constantly around 65-80 %ile in mocks this time around, had prepared like hell, giving up my sleep, my health, everything for CAT. Used to study approx 16 hours per day. Now I am mentally exhausted after all this, and feeling real low and depressed.

XAT : Getting around 24-31 as per various keys, have applied for XLRI only, I need to know some good colleges which i can expect i call from, need info on LIBA, Great Lakes, IFMR, TAPMI.

I had received joining letter from IOB which was scheduled from 15th DEC in Chennai, but i just had to give my SNAP and other exams, which was in Patna, so ended up rejecting the offer, for which I now feel terribly sorry. Gave IBPS, got score of 149/250, am hoping to ace the interview for some banks this time as well. But the thing is I am interested in making a career in Investment banking, so I don't know if Bank PO would a wise career choice.

Have a call from IRMA, got 94 %ile there, but am totally uninterested in a career in rural management. :nono::nono::nono:

Got 32 in IIFT, so even missed that by approx 2-3 marks, I wish those guys had just written simply that no sectional cutoffs, wouldn't have wasted up my time in RC, but done QA instead. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Waiting for Snap results anxiously, getting between 74-81 as per various keys, hoping everything goes well after all this time around. Last year, filled only SIBM-P, got 76, while cutoff was 78.5, so had missed out there as well.

Also, I want to end up joining some college which would provide me Investment Banking profiles, for which I know only IIMs are fit enough.

I probably cant get IIMs even if i try next year.. but at least in the top 50s? With my percentile, is there any good colg i should apply to?

Give it another try. Just a little bit of more effort and you will land up into a good college. IIMs is not the end of the world. Try improving your score by 10-15 points.
