got a call for admission from jaipuria lucknow,
still waiting for gdpi of Kirloskar....what to do??? should i take admission in jaipuria?

me too waitng for kirloskar gd/pi prospectus frm there .heard its pretty decent wit h >97% placement.if u are from the southern part of the country kiams is a good option

i hv also applied to FMS but due to the looooong time dey r taking I just stopped checking FB updates...
so suddenly ppl talkng abt shortlist made me wonder whether I missed out smthng...

I have got 81.2 %ile in cat ( 64%ile in QA n 91%ile in verbal)..i have not got calls from new iim's.....while some of my friends who have got less %ile(in both sections) have got calls....they have less marks than me in academic performance n also we belong to the same obc category...

Actually she must be frustrated by now... every one is after her life.. and List will be out by first week of march... as told by them to me day before yesterday...

IIT-Madras and IIT-Roorkee : 95+ %le (Sectional 88+ %le for IIT-Madras)
SP Jain : 95+ %le (85+ %le if great acads)
MDI : 93+ %le (This time around 3500 people called for 320 seats)

IITD - 98.8%le
MDI G - 93.96%le
NITIE - 97.2x%le
for SPJIMR cutoff is not an judging criteria.. Profile,Acads,ECA,workex and lot more are factors are important...

You can't do anything about your academic record (for good or for worse). So don't spend too much time thinking about it. Coming to your question, yes you can definitely make it to the top b-schools with a 95+ percentile. Having said that try to get as high percentile as possible.

I am an SC girl candidate with low percentile of 74.5.Still I got calls from iim bangalore iim kozhikode .Do i have any chance of converting my iimk or iimb calls?I have 1year of work ex.
10th marks:94.2(c.b.s.e)
12th marks:85.8(c.b.s.e)
b.e:75.03(first class with honours from Jadavpur university)

Yes!! Absolutely!! Give your best shot in the GD/PI and there is no reason why you would not convert the call.

Since you want an admission this year itself, try to convert FORE/BIMTECH/NIRMA/KJ. All are decent colleges.

If you want to have a back-up, then go ahead and apply for IMI Kolkata and Kirloskar, else not required.

Well, at that percentile, I would advise you to give CAT another shot. Moreover, the deadlines for almost all the good colleges are over.

Moreover, the college's selection criteria keeps changing every year. As of now just concentrate on CAT and try to do well in the mock cats that you would be taking later.

koi to FMS ko reminder bhejo. kahin outsource to nahin kar diya kisi aur ko. kisi indian IT company ko kara hai to abhi 1-2 month aur lag jaayenge.we are expert in skipping deadlines.
