Hi, I am Mitesh, an IT professional from Mumbai. It was this very forum on which I came to know about Rangde.org and I really liked the idea and wanted to contribute to the cause.

For starters, Rangde.org strives to enhance the availability micro credit by using technology and is based out of Chennai. For more information, please do visit www.rangde.org

To increase the awareness of Rangde, we are planning to start the Mumbai chapter. As a part of this chapter, we can contribute at our convenience.

Activities would aim at
- Reaching out to social investors and/or partners
- Fund raising
- Aid in the technology

Activities could be something like
- Fund Raising event management
- Creating new campaigns
- Running a Marathon for Rangde
- Blog about micro finance to increase awareness
- Aid in evaluation of borrowers
- Help in website development.

If this excites you, we look forward to have you a part of Rangde family. We are planning to start Mumbai Chapter and conduct fortnightly meetings on weekends 20th June onwards.

Drop me a PM with your contact details and I will get back to you ASAP. And for all who are not Mumbaites, still do PM me, we can work out something in your city as well.

Thanks for all who viewed the post and I am happy to tell that we have kick started the Mumbai Chapter of Rangde with four volunteers including me :-)

As a initiative to increase awareness of microfinance and hence Rangde, we are looking for volunteers who may want to run the Mumbai Marathon in January 2010 for Rangde.

We are planning to have around 20-25 volunteers, which we think is a right number to make an impact. Any one interested please drop me a PM by this Monday and we can take it forward from there
