u have counted 28 years it is 27 only you should not include 1987 for that you are calculating by month wise

25+ 23= 48 = 6

so sunday

(ii) 25+3+2+3+3+2+3+2+10 = 53 = 4 extra so friday

(iii) 2 for one entire year + 25 +3+2 +18 =50 so 1 extra so tuesday

Warrior ...I think it shud be 27 years in total ..as 1967 ke rest of the days have been accounted for , in ur next step and hence from 1960 to 1986 only u have to consider .

U got 2*7 + 1*21 ..rather it shud be 2*7 + 1*20=34 extra

Just see once ..or am i missing something ...

one can very well remember these codes

Jul…..6 aug….2 sep….. 5 oct….0 nov….3 dec…5

so 5 apr is 5+6=11
7 nov is 7+3=10
so reqd ans =10-11=-1--->sunday(w.r.t monday (apr 5))

10 dec is 10+5=15
so reqd ans=15-11=4------>friday(w.r.t monday)

18 jun this year is 18+4=22
18 jun this yr=22-11=4
2 odd days till next 18 jun so total 6 so ans is sunday(w.r.t monday)

Sunday.

2)

2+3=5

SUnday +5 = Friday.

3)

0+3+1+3+2+3+4=2

Friday +2 =SUNDAY
