Ting! I think it sunk in.. actually I really did'nt realise the distinction between the questions!
I guess having a vacant space in between 2 boys does not count as 2 boys sitting together then!
Danks... this makes life easier for me-As I have been using 'my logic' and complicating a lot of simple prob. sums for myself!

so gals can choose 5 of these 6 vacant spaces in 6C5 = 6!

and as far as ur doubt comprehend lik this
in any case gals occupie 5 places , lving one space vacant but still no 2 boys will sit together as there is e vacant space in between them but mind u this ques is not talking abt whether boys can sit together or not , it only speaks abt gals

and the ans 5!6! is strictly for the ques, which is
You have 5 boys and 5 girls , how many ways can you arrange them such that no girls sit together?

I'd like to point out that if the final arrangement turns out to be gbgbgbgb_bg it does mean that the two boys are sitting together. Nevertheless, the answer remains to be the same as our goal is to c that no 2 girls sit together irrespective of the position of the boys.
