It's certainly far superior to India today, outlook etc in terms of content. But far too left-leaning for my liking.
Instead I would recommend conservative magazines like 'The Economist' as well as weblogs like 'India Uncut','The Examined Life', 'The Becker Posner Blog', 'Marginal Revolution' etc. Google for more information.

Frontline is a great sales campaigner for Disprin

Jokes apart, the articles are very insightful, the english is splendid and the coverage broad as a barn door. But I am too cerebrally challenged to pick it up to read on a train journey or on a nice Sunday afternoon. It the IAS type of stuff which appeals to the more intellectually inclined. For MBA I think it might be an over-kill but if you are the leave-no-stone-unturned-to-crack-IIM kinds of candidate then a thumbs up to you.

okie now that you have asked i get to brag about frontline.i really belive that if you can read the Frontline with full interest and patience the you can clear any RC since the articles are so good and well written that it just makes you feel lik reading more and mor but the main point is maintaining concentration and retaining it . I you can do it with frontline you can do it with any other magazine. I would not rate it the best but it is far better than the rest.

okay, if frontline is not the best, then what is? any other more interesting magazines.

personally, i find frontline quite informative and really great in terms of content and vocab quality but at times, its too boring. thats where magazines like outlook, india today etc score over frontline.

How about comparing the week with the frontline and also the TIME magazine with frontline. which is better? is frontline still the trumps in terms of quality of content?
