Must Know topics for GD/PI.

Hi Guys,
In my preps for GD/PI, I would like to do some public good as well.
You suggest me a burning topic and I would come up with a analysis ,views and counter views about the topic to the best of my ability.Even if I'm not able to respond,we'll at least know what are the topics we need to cover.
Fields expected can vary as:

National or international Politics/Events,
National or International Business,
Entertainment,Films,Music,Art controversies and events.
Sports etc.

Any help from others on subjects which I do not know about like Stocks,Shares etc will be welcome.

Hope this helps ppl.I am preparing to post in near future about :

1) Iraq situation
2) Tsunami its after affects , US aid controversy.
3) Bush election
4) Situation in Bihar...kidnapping an industry.
5) Assembly elections.
6) West Asian Peace Efforts by new Palestian PM ( Perrinial!)
7) Yukos Oil Company takeover by state
ITC judicial ruling overturned by Ordinance.
9) Reliance tug-of-war.

Too much work man, compiling all that stuff in a single doc!
Just the topics are enuf ...and self study the mantra!!!
Over estimated myself ,and underestimated the amt of work...wait till I estimate sth like this for our projects at my work place and my team will be cannon fodder for slippages,escalations and client fire !

Sorry guys,cant keep up to my word this time ...maybe revisit again when i have some time...
