just another query..people talk about Mba after level 1,would dat be a necessity or level 2 would be ok?

plus what sort of packages can be expected after level 2...actually i am just concerned because i ll be funding all of the prep and exams by myself..
(kindly look over my ignorance in this regard )

well the post answers many questions....but one of the basic problem for me is understanding whether to go for an Mba and go for level 1 alongside or do level 1 make a shift to BFSI and go for level 2.
Secondly what are the pay packages like after completing level 2, this does affect the decision for obvious reasons.

Hi I am Gautam . I am also looking forward to appearing for the CFA level 1 June 2010 exam possibly by the 'feb deadline' which is mentioned at the international website for CFA.

I want to know if I am eligible to appear for level 1. I would be in my 3rd year of Btech. 21 years in age at the time of registration.

Don't know about pune dude but you can certainly get them in Mumbai. You can get them courier to your place. But i think you can get them in pune too coz lot of people from pune give CFA too. As for notes i would suggest you schweser as those are made from exam point of view and majority of junta follows this only.

Hi Guys,

I am also aiming for June 2010. I am a MBA Finance and currently working with Ma Foi in Mumbai. I say let us build this forum and stick together in helping each other to clear this exam. Let us share whatever we have and make this forum a rich resource. Cheers
