Difficulty in solving problems involving percentages...!!!!! :(

Hello fellas.....
i really find the problems that involve percentages applications..!!!
i take a lot of time in calculations.......
what do i do to increase my speed in this topic..........i really find it difficult to attempt %age questions.........and usually end up leaving them...!!!!!!

Hey dude,
Please dont start off a new thread for posting your personal queries. It is quite misleading as in puys will log into this thread expecting it to be a fruitful discussion. Please post your queries on the quant thread for CAT 2008. You can expect a lot more replies for your queries on that thread. You could actually ignore percentage questions. You can expect at most one question which is not worth the effort you put in now. Well with regards use of %ages you need to keep practising. Try out 15 to 20 questions and try timing it in 15 mins. Then after 2 weeks try doing it in 13 and then 10 and then so on. Automatically your speed will improve.
