It depends buddy...
for static GK you can refer any GK book by a good publication house. Pearson's is fine... haven't read others.
Current GK... read as much as magazines and newspapers as possible. In my case this GK thread at PG helped a lot.
Wait for some time... the thread will be in action again, once the MBA season starts.

I think reading newspapers regularly is the best way to be up to date... Competition Master is a good magazine for current affairs... And one can also follow Manorama Yearbook for an overall perspective.

This has been my fav thread since I joined PG, so kinda hurts to see it inactive. Seems people are still busy with the GD/PIs and the newbies are too busy with the written exam's preparation.
Anyways... we still can't negate the importance of GK be it written exams or the GD/PIs. So I'd request fellow puys to pour in their ideas regarding what to do and how to do. Shall we start with the a new thread of this season?
I am ready to contribute on a daily basis
