hello friends,
just joined PG...planning to give CAT'09...am from CHEMBUR,MUMBAI...lots of confusion between IMS and TIME...after my inquiry...it seems that TIME takes regular classes whereas IMS has only weekend batches..regular batches i think would benefit....plz help me out...which class to join?...anyone from these classes in mumbai please let me know your views...THANK YOU!

i would recommend you to join IMS and there are regular clsses as well as weekend batches according to ur convenience
the faculty is very gud and involved with students, always raedy to help when you face a problem........i.e. even after classes you can discuss with them as much as u want.
i have been a student of IMS and now MDI so IMS really helps

See it doesn't matter basically which class u r joining...coz all these reputed initis get the best faculty available n even if u dun like 1 u can always say tht to the mgmt...

Then comes ur weekdays n weekends batch....Se if u r workin Weekends batches are a bliss coz u certainly can't devote that much time on weekdays but again if u r free then weekdays batch keep u kinda regular in ur studies....
If u r in college or some part timr job somethin then wither will suit you...all u need to do is to be regular n devote bout 2 hrs daily...If u can do that then it doesn't matter which batch u r taking....

i have heard about Nishit sinha or TIME book by perason

have u complted all LOD I, II, III....If yes then u need not worry bout Quant...U can safely work on other aspects....

the level of problems given in nishit sinha is same as that of Arun sharma or lesser than that . the level of problems is same as that come in CAT ????

thanks guys...IMS has this zero preparation aptitude test which anyone can take...paganm have you given it???what is a decent score in it...any idea???my friend got 39 out of 300.....but IMS ghatkopar doesnt have regular batches this year....but they do have them next year as the CAT nears......
