Come on puys, crack these ;mg:

.They were introduced in aircraft for the first time in 1913, by Adolphe Pegoud, who became the first man to fly a plane upside-down. Plastic surgeon Claire L. Straith and physician C. J. Strickland were at the forefront of demanding them. We now use it daily but obviously we do not fly aircrafts. What am I referring to?

.The rights of this invention were sold for a mere $ 400 in the year 1849. Its origin dates back to the Mycenaeans during the 14th century B.C. (Late Mycenaean III era).It is one of the most commonly used thing when it comes to dressing, especially for Indian women. What is this brilliant invention?

.Aristotle had advised Alexander the Great to use a primitive form of this Invention. Incarcerated in a cell of England's Newgate Prison for provoking a riot, Addis had little to do but eat, sleep, think. He thought a good deal about some new means of making a living once his sentence was served. When he was released from prison, Addis went into the business of manufacturing this invention of his. His success was instantaneous. Today, it is an indispensable part of any person’s daily routine. What was his simple invention?

.During a minor argument during dinner with the Egyptian King Ptolemy III who didn’t agree with the principles of geometry and physics that Archimedes was currently founding. A bit peeved at Ptolemy’s insistence that the principles were all “a load of moldy cheese”, Archimedes shouted, “perhaps his majesty needs a demonstration of the shortest distance between two points!” and began pelting pitted olives at him. This lead to a massive food fight between Archimedes and several dozen of Ptolemy’s guards. Archimedes was given a thorough pummeling and was forced to take refuge under a large fruit bowl until he had surrendered. Days later, at another dinner, determined to be prepared, Archimedes wheeled in with this invention and proceeded to load and shoot great bunches of grapes at a time exclaiming, “notice the principles of the arc, your highness!” So, what invention did his highness witness?

.Back in 1955 Adler was employed by what was then Zenith Radio Corp., where he was charged to invent something that would allow viewers to watch television comfortably. After a series of flops (such as a wired contraption that people tripped over), Adler hit on the idea of using sound waves. The invention is sometimes held responsible for the term “couch potato”. What is this brilliant piece of work?
