At Bangalore, I went for time as it was easier in commuting from my home to TIME centre...........For weekend and regular batches students, the mocks are to start from May 25 th..............For ppl joining only the mock series, the mocks of TIME will start sometime in july.....thats wat the ppl at TIME told me............since I joined the weekend batch, mocks will start from May 25th..............

They said that the charges for the mock CAT series for this year wasnt decided yet but last year it was 5000 odd bucks............

TIME and IMS are almost equally good although the majority of opinions tilt towards TIME.........

Hi glacial
IMS and TIME both are of good quality and written by several thousands of students.
Last year I had taken both of them. My personal choice is IMS as the quality and toughness were at par with CAT level. Also, IMS sim cats are taken by over 50,000 students. So you get to benchmark against the best in the country from distant corners.
TIME was not good on Verbal front having various mistakes in every AIMCAT. The Quants and DI level though were quite decent.

Guys,

Is TIME offering any discounts based on CAT scores??? Last year they have given huge discounts for 98+ilers. My friend got discount of abt 12k for weekend classes, mocks and gdpi sessions. Plzz can anyone confirm this if it is there this year also?

This year IMS has lowered its fees for its Test Series.
You get 16 SimCats for 1500,- (as per newspaper ad)
( perhaps it's a limited period offer, and the fees might go up, if you join at a later date)

TIME's Test Series (AimCats) begin sometime in July. You get 16 AimCats for around 5000,- (guess based on previous year's prices)

.

looks like TIME also has decreased its fees for aimcat's.
I saw an advt. in toi newspaper that they will be having 20 aimcat's package for Rs 1950.
and further discount based on performance in free aimcat.

Hey,
I guess I will be able to clear all your doubts.TIME was taken by abt 26-28k ppl last yr.IMS had abt 21k and CL had abt 15k.If you want to go for 1 test series I would suggest you go for TIME(taking both competition and closeness to CAT into account).I would suggest IMS as the second option(it gave exceptional mocks for CAT2007).CL mocks are always very difficult compared to CAT and may end up demoralizing you.If you want to take 2 test series' I would suggest you to enrol for TIME and IMS.I had myself taken TIME,IMS and CL last yr.Feel free to PM me if you have any queries.
