TIME provides 15 AIMCATs + 15 Omets + 5 Mocks + 5 CRTS. Don't exactly remember to full forms, but these are full-length Mocks... So the total comes to 40 tests. And the fees they are charging for non-discounted people is 4250. So that comes to 106.25 bucks per paper...

So altough i agree that the price they are charging is as you said outlandish... but the other options are not much cheaper when you consider the per paper prices...

Yes, but only the Aimcats are offered as mock i.e simulated tests (in a classroom). The other tests IMHO - not just a rose by some other name - don't really cut the mustard as 'true' mock tests , as they are generally handed out as a rubber-banded bundle to "do at home".

These thus usually end up just gathering dust - my last year's set remains
unopened - and anyway, you could buy such tests as bound volumes elsewhere cheaper : for example the title " CAT Exemplar" published by IMS is available for 150,- odd bucks. Many other such compilations by CL etc. too are available freely.

Hi,
I joined CL for 999,-. In fact I took the test (that I had missed) today
( in one of their classrooms). The paper was well set, and patterned
closely on the CAT.

For this price, you get all the Mock Tests + 4 other Mock tests ( for
other related exams, I suppose). As opposed to the regular price of
3000,- ,you don't however get the FLTs ( Full Length Tests).
This is just a fancy name for a Mock which isn't one really, as you
"take it (at) home", so that doesn't really matter (to me).

While your info regarding the price was correct, I am sorry to say,
that this is another discounted price/ scheme. So unless you're
an ex-IITian or work for TCS, you're out of luck on this one.

By the way, CF offers discounts based on your Graduation (marks/scores)
too - over 75% in the degree certificate fetches a 1000,- rupee discount;
over 85 % gets you a 2000,- rupee discount.
A prior CAT score of 90% / 95% - percentile fetches the same discounts too.

coupla things

1) email accounts are not be shared here in open, same goes for address, phone numbers.
2) TIME or IMS or PG, all of these companies have copyright laws. u cant take photocopy of the test papers and then mail it.

imagine what will happen if some TIME director reads ur post.
all that he has to do is go to the court and PG will be on the news for the wrong reasons
