Hi Folks ,

Great to see MICA aspirants here and i am the latest one to join But i have few doubts Regarding MICA .

1) Can anyone guess and tell what would be the CAT Percentile required to get a call from the MICA (Based on your prior experiences) .

2) I am not a fresher , I am working for TCS .So is it better to join MICA after 2 years of cORPORATE Experience (I am passout of 2006 batch)

Hi can anybody please tell me are the examination forms out for MICAT???does MICA aceepet CAT scores also....please tell me where i can know about the admission notification and forms deadlines..

To answer your two questions:
1. Only CAT. Aim for 90 percentile.
2. I should expect them to come out by September, but don't worry - the forms will be on sale into November.

1. Based on prior experience, and expectations for this year, I'd say:
Overall: 90 percentile, aim for 75 in QA and DI, and 90 in VA. Of course, these are to be very safe...

2. See, you are from an IT company - so your experience really doesn't count too much as 'relevant'... But that is not to say it is useless. I myself was a software coolie before coming to MICA. With two years, you may stand a chance for lateral placements (just may). But I'll tell you for a fact, most of the people (over 60% in our batch) of people who join MICA are freshers.
Of course, from a personal PoV, I sincerely feel that people with work ex have a great advantage in the classroom - and not just for placements..!

MICAT forms are not out yet, they will be soon. So keep your eyes and ears peeled, I'll tell you guys of the same when the ads come out.

MICA accepts CAT and GMAT (international) scores.
Deadline, like I said, is sometime in November. So chill. Study well for CAT abhi

Well..some more queries for u here. Firstly, I love advertising, and wanna go for an MBA to be in advertising, but not the core crative advertising, more of the marketing based( and i dnt mean the money).

So I wanted to know that hw good is MICA for marketing?..and also, hw good is it if i am nt eventually looking for a job but looking to implement my marketing skills or MBA in my family business(relatively small scale).

Would you say its a better option than goin for a Family business MBA( which is oh so boring)
