Hi fnS,

I have been called for the interview on 17th feb in Chennai. I had applied for Glakes using my friend's credit card who is not in India right now. So I am not able to get his credit card statement from him, which is also one of the requisites mentioned in the mail. I had informed adcom about it and they told me to try to get it and if not possible inform them about the same by thursday. I am still trying and in case I am not able to get it before saturday, I hope it will not be a problem. pls advice.

Hi fns...

Thanks a lot for helping each one of us out here... wanted to ask 2 more ques...

1) When is the gd/pi scheduled to be held in Kolkata?
2) I had written just the minimum no. of essays that was required and not all the essays.
Will it have any impact in the selection?

I am an IT professional with 19 months of experience in an MNC. But basically I am an Electronics engineer from a premier institute of the country with pretty strong academic profile and decent extra curriculars... and CAT score is 94%ile...

hope to get an answer from you... also I would want to know the avg salary that I may land up with after 1 year after studying at GLIM ... thanks for the patience...

Hi fnS,

When you say for the GD/PI brush up your work ex basics what exactly do you mean? Can you elaborate on it a bit? Sorry if this question sounds a bit silly. Most of us here are very much interested in converting this GLakes call...hence these number of queries. Thanks again for your patience.

Hi fns,

could u tell us wat was the avg workex of the Glakers of 2006-07 batch? I understand that for the previous batch it was 3.8 yrs. Will workex not be a stumbling block for someone with say just 2+ yrs exp. pls advise on how we should prepare for questions relating to workex.
