ideally it means if you have two groups A & B, with x & y objects, the person can pick up either x(or less objects) from A or either y(or less objects) from B.

Also , though this may sound a li'l arrogant don't you guys think these Solid DI questions are a li'l too easy ? I am asking this because normally in IMS exams I suck at DI , hovering around the sectiional cut-off - Or is this going to be the kind of questions we get in the CAT ?
