5.Ewing and Twain are not in good terms because
one day when Twain retuned early from lunch
he saw Ewing already sitting fro lunch and reported
about him to the manager.
Find out which person holds which post.

Deepika,
Since Clerk & Cashier share "Bachelor" rooms, they should be among Twain, Ewing, Bernett.
But Ewing was having his lunch early. Thus, Ewing must belong to {Buyer, Floorwalker}
Clerk, Cashier = {Twain, Bernett} not sure whoz who
Both the females belong to { Manager, Floorwalker, Buyer}
Are you sure this is all the data given??? Can u re-check the puzzle and quote the source if possible???
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club

Infosys -
09-08-2005, 09:23 AM
I am from B'lore... We just finished with our placements in coll... I didn't write infy.. Took up TCS . But I know what the paper and the interview was like...
The written test was "typical infy" style with puzzles on the lines of shakuntaladevi... Each puzzle had different weightage. Some of them were very easy.
I think once you get through the written the interview part of it shouldn't pose too much of trouble coz it was bascially HR. They ask you some puzzles there too...All they are looking at is ability to communicate and put across your msg. So, once you clear the written test , the interview shouldn't be too much of a problem...
Good luck
Tomorrow never dies but today does!

Please help me in solving out these infy questions
Hi, i am new to this site and even don't know properly where should I post puzzles. moderator has told me to post on this thread. so please help me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) 3 people A,B and C went for a buffet.each of them went several times.A took 2.4 times as many trips as B.C went 6 times more than B.find the minimum total
number of trips taken to the buffet.
2)I left home early in the morning and returned back in the afternoon. The speciality that i noted was that when i returned, the minute hand was where the hour hand was in the morning and the hour hand was 2 minutes away from where the minute needle was in the morning. when did i return?
Please tell me the simplest procedure for this one:-
3)Mr. ANYMAN left ANYTOWN by car to attend a wedding at ANYCITY. He had been driving for exactly two hours when the car got punctured. It took his driver exactly ten minutes to change the wheel. In order to play safe they covered the remaining distance at a speed of 30 mph. consequently, Mr. ANYMAN was at wedding half an-hour behind schedule. Had the car got the puncture only 30 miles later , I would have been only FIFTEEN minutes late he told the driver . How Far is ANYCITY from ANYTOWN.
Ans:
120 miles
