[Done] Moving forum from /cat/ to /forum/

Hello Junta!

This has been a long time coming. We are in the final stages of moving the forum URL from the current /cat/ to /forum/ . However since we have thousands of incoming links to the website, we are going to forward all /cat/ links to /forum/ , this way old links will not get a 404 error and will be forwarded to the right location. This forwarding would also include any direct links to any of the posts we have.

Testing should be done in the next couple of days at night and then we finalize the move and re-integrate the forum with the portal as well.

For all regulars, /cat/ will still work, just that it will work as a forwarder to the new URL.

Any problemos ? doubts ?

Shall this fwdind be there forever or u gonna do it for some time and then disable it ???

Forwarder might remain forever because even people like me require it

Amen, and we are still linked by the original *historic* url in loadsa places !!! And come to think of it, time was when we thought that was a key point in helping us attract dedicated junta as people actually had to type /cat or they ended up against a wall

Hey good the old link will remain forever! Infact have used it so often that it has become a natural extension of "pagalguy.com" whenever I mention it to anyone!
