Hello Everyone,

This is my first post and my special regards to the TISS seniors who are helping us all.

My intro - I am from Blore and working in an IT firm from past 2+ years. Graduate in Engineering (Industrail Engineering) and now looking forward for HR profession as see myself to move forward in this direction

Please let me know if I am late to apply for the TISS HR LR course?? Do I have enough elligibilty??

Hey Guys,

Thanks a lot for all the info about TISS here!

I just needed some light thrown on the following matter:

I had created an account in TISS a few days ago,upon which I got a mail acknowledging my application and the procedure and the address to which I should send the DD and the other details,however what baffles me is the following information :
'On scrutiny, if found eleigible, you will receive an email and SMS from
Academic Section informing you that your call letter along with admit card
will reach you on or before October 15, 2008 with details of centre for
written test, registration number and other details.'
If I am right the last date is October 24th for all the application process,I am assuming there has been an error with the date mentioned or I must have missed something,so seniors,if you could just clarify this I would be grateful.

Dear alagati,

We are supposed to attest the documents and photo by a gazetted officer. But then, can i get it done from the principal of the college where I am teaching?

Hope I am not interpreting wrong-but if you are reffering to the docs tat need to be sent after filling tiss app online, then I guess no attestation has been mentioned except for Self Attested photographs. Where did you read we need to get it attested from a gazzeted off?

yes....you can get it attested bu your collg principal.........be sure that his office stamp is also affixd there

Hi Alagati,
I have tried with the college people and there is no formula to convert grades into marks since grades in a subject wur based on relative performance. There is however a formula for converting the final cgpa of a particular semester into percentage, I shall mention that on the cover letter which I send along with the documents. Is that enough? Or in case I need to call up the TISS adm office , can a telephone number be passed on..

Sorry for a second post, however this attestation thing is baffling. can someone clarify what is the thing about attestations? I did not read anywhere about attestations except self attested photos tat need to be sent along with docs after filling the online app.

In the general instructions, it says
"The photograph should be attested by a competent authority and it should also be signed by the Candidate in
black ink only."

So what do you think? Self attested will do? Seniors, please help!!

Well I guess there is some discrepancy. Did You fill the application online or purchased it. Bcoz after you complete the online application the instructions tat appear only state the list of docs tat need to be sent, mentioning along side very clearly that SELF ATTESTED photos 3 in no. need to be sent. And no other mention of any attestation is there. This is really confusing...
