Hi All i also got the XIMB call letter today.
Date is 7th March in Delhi at 2:00 PM.
But I also have XLRI-PM&IR call for the same date. So I want to shift XIMB to some LATER date. Is this possible? Has anyone got a call on 8th or 9th or later?
Also, like XLRI, do I need to EXCHANGE/SWAP this date with someone else or they'll(XIMB) reschedule it for me?
Would have asked this to the mentor but he wont be able to repl till 10th. So sending this query here also.

i have found out from the website that my gd\pi is on 6th march at xim bhubaneswar 2pm slot. but i haven't received the same by post yet. i am little worried has anybody with bbsr as centre got the letter. if yes please inform .
another thing is it possible to change the gd\pi date as i am having GIM gd\pi at bangalore on 7th march.

i had opted for centre bbsr and i got my call letter about 7-8 days back. i live in bangalore.

u cn easily change ur date or place of GD-PI.
U just need to send an email to admisn@ximb.ac.in citing the reasons u want da change 4.
Mind it the reason shud b sound enuf for da authorities 2 pay heed to.They reply to ur mails for sure.
I had done a similar change.
My interview was slated to be at bangalore on mar 5th.I changed it to kolkata.
U need to pester them again n again if dy dnt reply.
I had to send in 2-3 mails before i gt my reply.

i had requested the ximb officials to change my date of gd\pi. i recieved this mail from them.
"
As requested, your GD/PI has been preponed to 5th March, at 2.00 pm, at the same venue. You may treat this mail as the official communication towards the changes granted to you, and no separate letter will be issued in this regard.
Xavi Thomas"
but i haven't recieved the official letter from them not even the one with my previous gd\pi date of 6th march. should i take a printout of this mail and go on the 5th for gd\pi. also my changed gd\pi date is not updated on the website it still shows 6th march as my date of interview.

You can always wait for a senior to come in...But frnd as far as I see it, it seems ok to me. Also, wait for the letter to come..it may b on the way..If it does not come ...I would suggest you to keep a screenshot of the schedule from their website..that ll be useful...All the best.

Hi somanand...its fine....A print out of Mr.Xavi Thomas's mail will suffice to prove that your GD date has been shifted to 5th March. You should get the earlier posted letter too which contains the original date. Do bring this along too.
The difference between what you want and what u get depends on only one factor......you.
