Hi Thank you so much for your valuable advice on the IIMK seniors alst min tips thread...Your advice to another student was very similiar to my case nad I find myself recharged again to fight after going through your advice.I was feeling pretty demoralized before this.Heartfelt thanks for the helpful advice.Also,I have a doubt.My strongest section is VA,followed by DI.QA is weakest for me,but as you said,all 1 needs are 8-10 correct attempts for the cut-off.So,I am still confident about QA.What I would like your advice on is whether I should start with VA/QA?Which order do you think would be best for me,given my limitations?(Assuming the actual CAT has a difficult section).Awaiting your reply.

I have been scoring decently well in the TIME and CL mocks, with percentiles usually varying between 95-99, with few lower 90s. Now, Verbal section used to be my strength, and I used to face sm problems in QA n DI at times. Slowly I understood my problems in QA n DI, n these days m gettin better and more consistent scores in them , but since the past 2-3 weeks, my VA scores suddenly plummeted, and i ended up gettin scores like 10,12,11,14,18 and so on.. Is it that the papers earlier were easier, so I was acing them, while m finding it difficult with difficult papers? Or has my mental makeup gone wrong? The trouble started after I attempted CAT 2006, n 2007 papers, n got 12 n 11 in VA respectively. Since then, I hav been screwing on a regular basis. Earlier I used to attempt more questions in VA, giving 7-8 min per RC, and gettin an accuracy of 60-80%, I used to get good scores. To improve my accuracy, I increased the time I allot to an RC, and started giving more time to each question. But my accuracy has gone even further down, and m scoring much less!! I tell myself that it is the actual CAT that matters, but still thr s a nagging worry at d back of d mind. Please advise!!! N Thanks in advance
