How can u realistically xpect me to list out cons of XIMB?

I've been waitlisted(33) for PGDM..wich in all probability shud convert ;-)..however i've also converted NMIMS and will be taking tht up as of nw...Not intending to compare the two...but the pros and cons of taking up XIMB cud really help me take an informed decision...

Hi Apoorv,
An experience of 2 months does not really count as one does not enough time to know about the industry in a mere span of 2 months. Hence, you will most likely be treated as a fresher. As far as making it count in your interview is concerned, that would be upto you. :-)

I am a btech in ME (Mechanical) from UPTU 2008 batch.
Got a job in Afcons-A Construction Company
but didn't join to prepare for CAT.
Got 94.18%il in CAT and 97.67%il in Xat.
Got a call from Ximb.
I am at present working as executive procurement in SCM-Supply Chain Management ( Inventory Management / Inventory Purchase ) in a BPO named Corbus for 2 months now.
It does SCM for US clients.
Please tell me whether my experience would count for a B school college.
Or if maybe I would have to make it count in the interview by tackling the interviewer.

Hi Kunal,
You can write a mail to the admissions office of XIMB requesting a change of date. A change of venue would be really difficult due to the logistics involved, but if you cite ur case, the office may grant you an interview on say the 7th or the 9th. However, it is not necessary that the adjustment will take place. Would advise you to move on this ASAP.

My gd/pi dates are as follows:
28th--IIT-D in Delhi
5th---NMIMS in Mumbai
8th---XIMB in Delhi
8th---SJMSOM in mumbai...........

cant miss any... and obviously cant b present in mumbai and delhi at the same time....

can my XIMB gd/pi be shifted to mumbai on any non-clashing date... plzz help !!
