I was at the Hanken School of Economics in Finland. Before going on an exchg program you have to weigh your options and see what suits you best. You get intl exposure, a great point on your cv and also numerous useful contacts abroad which you can leverage maybe later on in your career. At the same time, you miss out on becoming an appointment to the IMF, PlaceCom, Club coordinators since the elections to these bodies happen in the third trim. You will have the liberty to choose the subjects of your choice abroad, you may miss one or two subjects here which might be useful in the future. You are paying around 2 lakhs, in my case it was just around 1.2 lakhs. Ultimately its a personal choice as to what is important to you in your life. For me I wanted to experience a foreign B school and felt it would add to my resume, so I went for the exchg program. Guess we could discuss this further once you guys land up in Delhi.

hi pallavi..this is arpit.didnt read ur msg on m profile as i check it pretty late. as far as trading profiles is concerned, there are many kinds of things that u may do:
a senior of mine did his summers at cargill..he was given a project on sugar, where he had to correct the data released by commerce ministry according to the firm's requirements and analyse the consumption of sugar at business houses in india.
