@msabhi I don't see freshers facing hurdles in getting into a B-school, people with work ex are taking this period as opportunity to pursue post graduation studies but there are many who wants to stick to their jobs due to unsecure market atmosphere. So its mixed bag and a fresher still have the same level of chances to get into a B-school as it was in yesteryears. I would suggest to focus on preparation for CAT rather than thinking about these issue at this moment of time, primary focus should be doing well in written examination. Best of Luck

Bro i have a question abt nirma...
I am embroiled whether to do MBA as a fresher or with experience.Though i have good academic record i doubt i ll be able to get calls from IIMs..so NIRMA tops my list of colleges.i graduated this year and havent managed to grab a job yet..or let me put it like this : i dint attend any interviews !! as my intention is to do MBA and then JOB !! apparently am preparing for CAT 2009...now i am hearing rumors that a fresher ll face many a hurdles while doing the course and wont manage to grab a good job after doing MBA ...bro plz enlighten me abt this...hav sacrificed everything for doing MBA next year..i do have plans to join a midsize company but after NOV....plz enlighten me
