hi Hari read thru ur post and got demoralised for a full 24 hrs.....99.36 percentile and no calls......why? and by no calls do u mean only IIM calls or u didnt get calls from say MDI, SP Jain,IMT G.....etc........and man u plan to give the CAT 2009 and get into the IIMs .....how to u intend to do it...improvin ur 99.36 or by addin workex......thx mate tc best of luclkthis time round......saurov

hey m from bangalore.. i m preparing for CAT this time. last time i just wrote without preparing much and got around 94%ile. i m taking it seriously this time. I wanted to ask what u do? as in r u working and if so where..? my worry is that i have just finished my 8th sem engineering exams and i had 2 job offers. one from TCS and the other Nokia-siemens. But the Nokia offer has been put on hold and i stil havent been given a joining date. TCS might call us only in nov-dec.right now m just planning to prepare for CAT and try out any off campus placements but my worry is- in this period of recession if i dont get a job til nov-dec will that be a dampner in the subsequent rounds after CAT. also giving other management exams like XAT, fms, iift,snap etc.
