hey...i've begun my prep with PR's Cracking the GMAT. Done with reading their Math & Verbal review sections. Math review doesn't seem sufficient. So goin to look at OG's math review & Manhattan GMAT's website. I also found SC insufficient. But PR is def a good starting point. Insufficient for me cos I'd studied a bit for CAT last yr so kno most of these things already. But I haven't done a single official GMAT qs. to date so will confirm PR's usefulness later.
I think that it would be best to start off with reading Math & Verbal review sections frm OG & then def read Verbal review from PR (IF u have the book).
For practice questions I've heard OG & Kaplan r sufficient (my bro scored a 740 using just them)
Useful links GMAT Hacks: Improve Your GMAT Score! - love this site! it also gives u a practice GMAT qs. a day! Also liked free notes & flashcards found on Manhattan GMAT's website.
Lemme kno if u need anythin else!
