tell me one thing dude... y r u supporting IMS wen u r nt a part of IMS. since u r nt a student of IMS so one thing is for sure... u don't know anything about IMS. whatever u know, everyone else knows (because ur source is also the same). moreover, whatever i have posted are all just facts based on real data (and reality that college fakes), whereas u r just blaberring about IMS with no base at all... let me tell u dear, aspirants are not idiots that they won't be able to judge.

as told earlier, my bro is studying in this college and feels he (n many more as per his batchmates) have ruined their life by trusting the data given by the college. the college is not fulfilling even 10% of what a b-school is supposed to deliver. hence, to save many such aspirants from upcoming batches, i am making this effort.

i guess from a bro's and a true aspirant point of view, i am not doing anything wrong. i am not making any scathing remarks but as told earlier, trying to bring up some real facts which this college fakes. go to post#17 of this thread and try to find the answer of what all I had mentioned in that post, u'll come to know some inbound realities. hope u wud understand me.

oh aparnaankit???? u were told such nice facts bout ims by the students o that college only??? how funny...!!!!!.even am a student of this college... and i dare you to come to our college and ask, REALLY ASK me, my frens and each and every student of this college what they think about this college. i just want to tell each and every person following this thread that whatever virtualworld is saying is absolutely true... in fact this time during gds when students were coming to our college and they enquired most of us told them the FACTS... n that its upto them if they wanna join such an institute... And how can you even say that the infrastructure of this college is good..... please i request u not not to put forth such fake claims.... and mislead others... and ruin their lives....

a truth abt IMS ghaziabad (possibly u know abt it):-

My brother is studying in IMS ghaziabad. the college claims an avg packg of 7 lpa and a max of 20 lpa. i came to know abt this figure from college's ad in TOI newspaper (Delhi edition dt 15/01/09).

The Truth: The normal avg of "placed" students is below 4 lpa. highest is around 8 lpa. this year, when there is an industrial slowdown the avg package is around 2 lpa & highest is around 4 lpa.
i dunno even IIMs' avg package has dropped this year, how IMS had been able to make 100% placement with avg package also increasing. these people don't even think even once while making claims! u only tell me guys, IS IT POSSIBLE FOR A MAT INSTT TO GIVE AN AVG PACKAGE OF 7 LPA IN A RECESSION WHEN INDIA'S BEST B-SCHOOL IIM-A's AVG PACKAGE HAS FALLED TO JUZ 12 LPA??? trust me friends, it's a fake college. DUN BELIEVE ON ANYTHING CLAIMED BY THE COLLEGE.


i have highlighted "placed" cuz the senior batch has got an appaling 15% final placement only. whereas by this time, b-schools are supposed to have their 100% final placements (of their potential). In fact, companies visiting are offering profiles with low package of as low as 1.2 lpa!

The college may argue that the poor placement is because of industrial slowdown, bt still, the college has never achieved 100% placement & never the avg package has crossed 4 lpa.

Summers: All b-schools achieve 100% summer placements by this time (end of II term), but from my bro's batch, only 1 student has got his summer placement from a batch size of over 250 (and that too zero stipend).

infact, there are many other facts about college. bt since they are not related to career, i am not mentioning it, bt i guess those things do affect ur life. investing 8.5 lacs for such a college is definitely a poor deal.

Today - on 6th nov 2009.. again IMS has given a paper adv. in TOI with the fact of avg placement of rs. 7 lakh and maximum of rs. 20 lakh. This is too much. No one have authority to play with the carrier of students by posing such falce information.

i agree with fakeness of IMS ghaziabad . the institute fakes its rank as the owner of the institute is a leader at state level, therefore he does all the settings thing(JUGAAD) and got its ranked so high.the institute doesn't deserve such high rank at all.

i want to answer the above person too, bro you and every other guy here too, plz use your head and think if a intitute is advertising in a paper about its placement, its definately gonna be fake. great instituions don't need to advertize and say that they are so gud. and i am an ex-student of IMS ghaziabad , so i know the reality.

i can tell u how gud this college could be and how bad it could be.

1) this college can teach you how to become a gunda better than any other college can.
2) if ur parents have a lot of money and you want to waste it. go for this college, it is the right choice for you.
3) if you are interested in and only in girls, go for this college its a better lovers palace rather than a education temple.

BAD
1) if u want achieve something in ur life, don't u dare to come here.
2)even the brightest students can't study here
3) the college is more of a gunda place
4) it fakes about its rank
5) it fakes about its placements.
6) the faculty in IMS is so poor that a lab assistant in any other college would be better than the teachers here.
