Finally the last paper of the MBA 2008 is over...

CET paper shown little bit Change than last yr... The overall cutoffs will be approx 140+ / 200

To be confirmed with a chance for JBIMS you should have 140+ but with good GDPI score you can convert with 138-140 also...

the cutoffs are out of 200 as i am not counting GDPI... if we count GDPI the cutoff will be 170 - 172 / 240....

past cutoffs for written test

Cutoffs of 2007 - 133
Cutoffs 2006 - 140
Cutoffs 2005 - 126

Short analysis for low cutoffs:
DI - Little bit of calculations... 2 sets were very time consuming..
RC - Not as easy as last yr...
QA very less as expected... only 10 -15 marks.. but difficult then last year..
None of these answer choice was in many ques.. which also confused some of students...

Paper was almost at par with last yr... only one set people who got all verbal in the start will suffer... as they were not able to manage the paper....

Can you clarify a doubt i heard with regards to admission to JBIMS...

I've applied through all india seats and maharashtra state seats:

I got a 99.94%ile in CAT - 150 marks
Suppose i get 145 marks in CET

They have said they consider better score for all india seats- i.e.
CAT - 100/200.... CET - 145/200
So would they take my CAT or CET score (cause then a high percentile in CAT would hold no value)

hi you can apply thro CAT also.. but as OMS cutoffs are always 10 marks more than CET mh people.. cutoffs for mh people is 136+ (as per cetking ) the cutoffs for OMS will be 146 plus.. so keep ur fingers crossed and expect.. good score in CET...
