Unmaad 2005!

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to inform u guys about our cultural festival which is coming up in January, Unmaad 2005. It happens to be one of the best festivals in the country, and also the biggest event conducted by IIMB.

Some of the events lined up for the festival are –

1. Performing Arts -
Street Play, Solo Dance, One Act Play

2. Literary -
Quizzes, Jam, Debate, Dumb-C

3. Musical -
Hindi Solo, Hindi Duet, Western Solo, Antakshari, B School of Rock, Instrumentals

4. Fine Arts -
Mehendi, Face Painting, Rangoli, Theme Painting, Collage

5. Unmaad Specials -
Fashion Show
Personality Contest
Group Dance/ Choreo
Karaoke Stall
Informals
Carnival Village

These are just some of the events lined up for Unmaad 2005. But the biggest event of Unmaad in which you can participate without being there is KRITI!
Kriti is an event making competition which gives you an opportunity to conceptualize and formulate an event that will be conducted during Unmaad. All you have to do is give us a unique idea and tell us how you will execute it. If the event meets our benchmarks and is given thumbs-up by the members at the MyUnmaad community, you get a grand holiday sponsored by Club Mahindra and also the opportunity to come here and see your event happen.

We have some big names also showing up for the pro-nites. We have –

Shab E Tanhai with Jagjit Singh
Unity Concert with Strings & Indian Ocean
Standoff with Moksha & Parikrama

The registration for www.myunmaad.com is similar to orkut.com, i.e. membership is through networks; you can request for membership on the website, or get in touch with an already existing member (me) so that I can invite you. undergrads are more than welcome to participate...no proceudres or anything.....just come here and enjoy...our cultural committee will soon be getting in touch with all the colleges and b schools in the country...cld already have started.

Hey arun,
It is definitely NOT ONLY for college students!! Corporates are more than welcome. For almost every event organised by our student committees, we invite corporates although their participation is kinda low. So if u can make it we wud just love it! (And yes,please do try to get ur colleagues as well )

Regarding the passes and stuff, i dont think there is any charge as such to participate, and even if there is,its gonna be nominal

The schedules for the main events are already up on the website. The exact timeline for all the other events will be provided on the day of the festival itself.
