i'd like to disagree with GOVAR here. blog is actually a lot more than a mere public e-diary. if used properly, it can be a very powerful medium of communication. We can get our ideas to a very large no. of people and it all depends on how we are putting our ideas across. it can be a launch pad for a budding writer or a poet. it can be a group initiative in wich a group of people collaborate to maintain a blog. they may discuss and propogate ideas about anything and everything under the sun. it can also be a way to keep in touch with ur friends. and ofcourse it can be your personal e-diary.

i cant agree more. it surely can be a very constructive hobby. may be one can impress the IIM interview pannel by his/her blogging prowess.
