Manfest 2008 presents Wild Goose Chase

Manfest 2008 brings to you a game which will challenge your wits, lateral thinking but overall your capability to persist on hard yet manageable problems. So get ready to decipher a humungous trail of clues till the start of Manfest 08, and let the story unfold itself. Get ready for the Wild Goose Chase

The Story

The 13 warriors of the Intergalactic Council of Gallant Goose Hunters (ICGGH for short) have assembled at Zion206cc. You see, long long ago, in a galaxy not so far away, there lived geese. During the days of the Great Goose Wars (in the year GWY 42), General Gooseberry and his vast legions of 'Horrible Honkers' massacred millions of geese in the Greatest Goose War (in the year AGW 0) and established control over vast areas of the Goosy Way. Years of peaceful tyranny followed where Goosial Law was imposed upon Goosy Way.

However, unknown to General Gooseberry and to most others there lived in one corner of the galaxy, a band of brave, noble, fearless and brainless goose warriors who went by the name of 'The Galloping Geese'. Why they named themselves thus or whether they did gallop or why they were in general against the General is still a mystery to many. But that is another story for another day.

We beseech you, gentle reader, to stop trying to figure out what the hell this is all about and set forth on this wild goose chase to restore peace and order in the empire.

Rules & Regulations
The event is being conducted by Team Synapse, the IT and Knowledge Management Committee of IIM Lucknow as part of Manfest 2008
