congs to all who got through ISBM....
i called ISBM pune Placement cell yesterday.....
they informed that so far avg.pakages this year is around 6.2lk with an heighest of 9.02 lk
....they told me that they have more then 100 companies for 225-250 students .....
well i am not sure as its look too cool....is any body have any idea abt this data.....

Well Shreyo... Sorry for the late reply as i've been busy making the trips for other gds.
I had been out for the GD/PIs of XIME, IIFM, Bhopal and SIESCOMS Bombay... My preference is somewhat like this...
IIFM, Bhopal (results after gds awaited)
XIME, Bangalore (waiting for short list)
ISB&M, Pune (converted)
SDM-IMD, Mysore (waiting for shortlist after gds)
Alliance (converted in MBA booked my seat... now rejecting it)
SIESCOMS (going tomorrow for a fun interview)
Didn't fill the form for IIMM since i believe MBA is not 365 days of studies... It includes fun element and events too... ISB&M has got a lot of activities in campus to explore your leadership skills... I want to be in a place where you are guaranteed of fun as well as management.

Ya... a lot more... the placement stats that are not manipulated... i got friends in that campus... Pune is obviously a place where you get a lot of opportunities... ISB&M's mentor... an ex XLRI placement cief and SIBM director... plus i believe that in an average college like ISB&M, u can get easily noticed if you are good enough and not brilliant... plus there are a lot of people from my coaching centre joining Pune campus...so the managerial network seems to have been built in my case before the start of classes.

All the best to all those who are joining @allesha, shreyo, samrat and others..
I am not joining ISB&M Pune.

I would list down some pros and cons of this institute, because the way i have researched about this insti, i doubt somebody else has done..may be it can help all those to make decision and for all those who will aim at this insti next year...because very less is on Pagalguy abt this insti.

Marketing(M), Finance(F), Systems(S), HR, Industrial relations(IR)
pros:
1. dual specialization (but just have a look at the combinations at Pune: you can take M+F, HR+IR, HR+S)
2. if you are really above average, than you need not worry, hard work+patience will help you land in good company.
3. accomodation is good, its 1 PC/person...so u can save on laptop at least for 2 years. Pen drive can help.


Cons:
1. Fees is a bomb, it comes close to 8 lakhs for 2 years(tution+hostel+mess+petty expense like travel,mobile,books,blazers...etc...depending on life style)
2. AICTE approval is not their...it matters for those who want to do PhD or be a professor.
3. Lots os parties happen and all that burden is borne by students by shedding close to 300-600 rs/month or 2 months..this is also something to be thought over..
4. facilities in hostel and mess....pls pls...vist the campus
5. ROI...by paying 8 lakhs fees...what are the average placements that you get.
6. college is 6-7 kms far from city...travelling will cost u a bomb..staying in hostel is better...because lecture timings can be like 7 in evening also...so hostellites have benefit in that case.
7. Not attending guest lectures..can cost heavy on ur pocket..they charge around rs. 1000 as fine
8. For people having work-ex less than a year, they usually do not allow to quote on resume.(this is what i know....exceptions could be there..depending on the relevance of the profile to the specialization)


I could have missed on few things...and these are my findings...they may vary from person to person...
