Re: Operations - 30-04-2009, 01:38 AM

hi,
i am saurabh,a final year student of engg(elect & tel).i am joining an MBA college from this July.i have read your previous posts and i am very keen in knowing more abt operations and SCM as my specialization.

do you think that it is helpful for a electronics guy to pursue operations,i have heard its taken only by mechanical guys..

i have also heard that after doing operations ,the work place is a factory or shop floor.is it true?

how can i improve my chances of getting placed in a good company with a decent package,i mean to say what all courses or certifications are needed to help improve my profile!!

hope this is not much of a trouble!!
