Mktg Specialization in the US... Practical?... Logical? - 27-05-2005, 12:03 AM

Hi,

I am starting this thread after being thretened by comments from GSB007

Apparently, it is tough for internation studios completing their MBA with a specialiazing in marketing from US bschools to be placed in the US?

I am sure hardly any of you guys/gals would want to come back to india without recovering the money you have spent on your MBA.

Could we discuss this further and and throw more light on:
  1. how fruitful/practical is an MBA with a marketing specialization from the US?
  2. Is it not practical to look at top b-schools outside the US if one wants to pursue a specialization in marketing?
Cheers!!!
