Is it worth going for a full time MBA?? - 10-04-2005, 07:00 AM

Hi!!

I am a graduate engineer working with an british company in Dubai. I have applied for my GMAT test in the month of july. I am in a fix. Pls guide me through it. I have 4 yrs of work experience. My present salary is $24,000. In addition to this if I stay with the company for another 2 yrs, I am expected to get promoted to a managerial position. SP Jain has recently started part time MBA program in Dubai. The net cost of the prog boils down to Rs. 600000. Pls guide me is it worth going for a full time MBA prog in US as the opportunity cost of not earning for 2 years coupled by the risk of getting a good job (as one I have right now). Pls also guide me about the average salaries being offered to MBA students in US. My aim is to persue my MBA prog in Operations Management.

Regards,

Jatin
