I am planning to apply for NTU this year. Considering the fact that I don't have a great GMAT score and that I am from the IT industry, I would like to know your opinion about my profile and if it stands a chance in front of NTU AdCOM.
28/M/Indian
GMAT score : 650/5.0
Work Ex: 6 yrs in IT with a top Indian Software company ; with 1.5 yrs International exp in Europe
Acads : Good at school and college level
Extra-curricular : Decent throughout

Hi,
NTU runs in a trimester system, and the majority of MBAs joined in August every year. Therefore, the orientation, introduction and similar programmes usually start at the end of July or early August every year.
Having said that, it is possible to join in their second trimester in Nov or third trimester in Feb.

my work experience is quite good. I have worked as a telecom solutions consultant for the past one year in UK. Good career progression promotion. Defined and created solutions worth 20 million£ for the client and made profits for my company too.
Moved from IT role to a solution consultant role.
One year onsite in London.
Will get Recos from client(Chief consultant) and manager (parent company)
Good acads all life. 10th 85% 12th 88% topper in school all my life. Undergrad top 10 in class 3.6 GPA. B.E.
Social service for 5 months
Very good extra co curriculars in college.
Organized international events at college and other stuff
Bad part
Screwed my GMAT... 650 which is supprising coz my mocks i was getting 730+... Due to some personal issues i cant retake the gmat.
I know i need solid essays...
Short term career goal.
Move into consulting to learn about how buisness is done.
Points to ask
1> Profile evaluation. What do u think are my chances. Am i dreaming or is NTU possible?
2> Do any of you have dates when would the actual dates for applying be out?
3> Can some one post the essay topics of last year?
4> Are the recos of NTU online?
5> Do we have fairs by NTU if yes when are they comin to India?
