Joined pagalguy for some networking and was surprised 2 see a Ross MSCM Thread....I thought this was a very low profile program...anyways, gud 2 see sum ppl i knw here....
m also joining ross mscm program and travelin in Dec last to Ann Arbor....See you all there
It is so nice to see so many of you heading to Ross for MSCM.
I am also contemplating on applying to Ross for MSCM Jan 2010 batch. I already have an admit from London School of Economics for MSc Management and Strategy, September 2009 batch, but I may not go there because of the screwed up UK/Europe economy.
Just wanted to request all of you to share your views about the program and the career prospects after graduating. Are you enjoying the program? Would you recommend applying to Ross for MSCM?
I also have a couple of more questions:
1. I talked to the program director and he says that for every student the summer project is guaranteed and Ross/Tauber make all the effort for sourcing the projects. Did all of you get a paid summer project? What kind of effort, if any, you had to put in to get this project?
2. Did anyone of you avail the loan provided by University of Michigan Credit Union? What was the interest rate offered to you? Is there any collateral/security required?
3. What were the questions asked to you in the interview? Are there any specific questions or question areas which I should prepare for the interview?
4. I know at present the economic situation is really bad but still to you how does the market for SCM jobs look like?
Thanks in advance to you guys.
All the best
